Travelling to Hawaii was absolutely amazing. The number of activities available to us was unreal. We opted to stay in the area with locals to avoid the hustle and bustle of the tourist strip, beach and hotels. We had rented a car and the drive into the city was an hour. Completely worth it because we had better access to local breakfast spots. In terms of food places to try we simply went on Instagram and made our list of everything we wanted to try and divided it by days and destinations. Each day was a different activity, beach and or food spot. We of course included chill days where we were at the beach the whole day and then came back to our accommodations to make dinner. Things we did Under water scootering with Island water sports A hike on the Manoa falls trail Visited the Byodo-in Temple ( The valley of the Temples) - so many catsssss Picked up deserts at Leonard's Bakery - Malasadas Full day at the Polynesian center with a tour guide. Attended the breath of life fire show and feast Beaches! Just look up beaches and go! We went to 6 in our ten days and one of the prettiest was turtle beach which is attached to a resort with the beach open to the public. While super pretty the beach was crowded and was very rocky but still a good time! Honestly one of the best trips I've ever been on !
