A Little About Me:
I’m a city girl with an island heart. I love adventure and love being versatile. Exploring cities and hiking is my thing. Love to start my day with a hearty breakfast and finish with good cuisine.
Giraffe Centre is a must see. You will get to feed giraffes by hand and by mouth at a very low price. Also visiting Nairobi National Park is a relaxing adventure. Although its more laid back than your usual safari its still a cool stamp to add to your list. If you go just dont get out of the car during the safari as you will be in big trouble by the guards. For food I would stop at CJ’s especially if your vegan. The food is very up to par and surprisingly tasty! Being black in Nairobi is common as its a predominate, although being careful as an American in the city is a self priority.
Miami will have you learn some Spanish by the end of your trip. So many Spanish speaking people that are friendly. If you want some good food visit Versailles Restaurant in Little Havana. Its got the best Cuban food. Then head to the famous Ball and Chain spot for the liveliest Salsa night out. If your in North Miami Beach I would definitely check out Paquitos Mexican restaurant. Its much more laid back but has a colorful vibe and they even play some live music.
Cape Town has endless places to see! It’s full of history and speaking with natives you hear a variety of stories about the South African lifestyle. You must hike all 3 mountains especially Table Mountain. Table Mountain has numerous different trails to hike to the top. Skeleton Gorge is the best trail. Although it is steep and challenging it will take you to Maclear’s Beacon which is the highest peak of Table Mountain. Lions head is moderately easy and does not have a cable car. Signal Hill has a scenic drive up and down.
