NON STOP ADVENTURE!!!! Our tour guide Nelson was absolutely AMAZING! @nelsoncampos26 on IG) He introduced us to a drink called horchata. You can literally drink it with anything. The food everywhere was delicious and everything was super inexpensive. We hiked the Santa Ann volcano, slid down the rainbow slide (located inside a restaurant called Picnic Steak House about 15-20 minutes from San Salvador city. Cost about $5 USD), rode bikes in the sky across a tight rope (aka Bicycle Zipline), and swung on a very high swing (with a huge initial drop). The zip lining and the swing cost $5 or $10, can’t quite remember. El Salvador is truly a place to experience. The people, the food, and the adventure.

I would give Guatemala 10 stars if I could. This was easily one of my most fun trips. At my tour guide Yves suggestion we stayed at Hotel Atitlan. Beautiful views & great food! If you’re not afraid of heights GO STAND ON THE HANDS. Just tell your yours guide to take you to the hands (there is more than one). I experienced paragliding for the first time. It was an experience like no other and I highly recommend if you’re a date devil like myself. I never remember the names of where I go but do take the boat ride to the town with the art. There’s also great food there. And check out down town and the market place that only happens on the weekend. Oh! Always wear your seat belt. Car accidents happen often. Long story short, do and see everything and go everywhere in Guatemala. You’ll love it.

I booked the Luxor Hotel specifically for the TOWER PREMIUM KING ROOM on a solo trip…. The room is very chic with floor to ceiling windows which gives a great view of the strip. My flight ended up being very delayed and I got in late that night. Though my room was already booked and paid for I ended up with a room that faced another building. 0 view! And my floor to ceiling window just ended up serving as a mirror because it was so dark. The rooms are first come first serve even if you pay in advance so I was stuck with a crappy room. The hotel and room were beautiful but this is something to be mindful of. If you can avoid it, don’t check in late.

I went to Tulum 4th of July weekend. We stayed in Rivera Maya at Secrets which I HIGHLY recommend. However, the Action was in Tulum. Rule # 1! Make sure you get to the day party/brunch at right time. We thought the parties were all day at Tantra and Taboo and we were wrong. We got there at the end and missed all the fun (everyone leaving looked like they had a great time though). The staff told us that a new party was starting so we stayed and bought a bottle. WASTE…. Both places remained empty. However, we hung out at Tantra then went to Mamba. Mamba was like being in the club in Atl. Drinks, hookah, good music, and an all around good time. Guys will love this spot because there were way more women than men.

If you’re going to Aruba, you must stay at the Renaissance and go to Flamingo Beach. The Renaissance adult resort is great but caters to couples. We were told all double rooms are on the first floor. Every night we could barely sleep because the street was so noisy. But if you go as a couple or single and stay on a high floor you should be good. Great food, great drinks, great people. Now for Flamingo Beach on the Renaissance Private Island. Everyone talks about the Flamingos but no one mentions the BIRDS! BEWARE, the birds and flamingos are very comfortable with people and not at all afraid of us. In addition to feeding flamingos I fed the birds. One bird decided it was a good idea to land on my arm and just stay there….. All in all I had a great time & highly recommend!

Easily the most fun trip I’ve been on in a while!!!!! We stayed at Moho Sonesta. While you’re there …. One word… JOVANNY!! He is the concierge or was he the manager, I can’t recall. Anyway, he handled EVERYTHING we needed. Danisha was also amazing. Taria was never much help…. We took a tour with a taxi we kept throughout most of our trip Mr. Greg then on the last leg we used Alex. They work with the hotel and I highly recommend requesting them. If you go to the French side St Martin, if the waves are heavy at the beach DO NOT JET SKI FAR OUT the waves will only get harder (unlike other places I jet ski’d). We ended up falling off and having to wait in the water for rescue to find us! The heavy waves may have also had to do with a storm coming. Check the weather before you jet ski! The drinks are great at the resort but the food not so much. I had the best snapper of my life by asking a bartender for a referal. Talk to the staff and taxi drivers to find out about the local spots to visit. I don’t recommend purchasing anything for order from any locals. I ordered a swim suit, didn’t get the suit by their fault, and I was not refunded…. Overall, this was an amazing trip! I generally only travel to a country once. I came to Sint Maarten/St. Martin in April 2018 after the hurricane. It was great to come back and see it everything finally back up and running.

ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACES IVE TRAVELED!!! We stayed at the San Jose Sheraton and I highly recommend. Our suite was beautiful and the concierge provided amazing service. I visited the hot springs, volcanoes, the coffee farm, and waterfalls. But the most exciting of all was the water rafting. It was so action packed and fun. I highly recommend. The coffee is amazing and every meal is served with rice. FYI… I can’t recall the name of it, but don’t be alarmed… There is an animal that looks a little like a raccoon that is usually in the jungle but walks around the city as well.

I stopped in Paris in Spring on a day trip. I recommend making sure you have service at all times so that you can use a translation app for the taxis if you can not speak French. Also at the Eiffel Tower, it’s worth it to pay one of the guys that approach you to take your pictures. Our pics came out great and they angled us perfectly to get cool pics like we were touching the tower and other cute little poses.

EGYPT IS LOVE!!!!! I highly recommend all Black people visit at least once in their life time. We had an amazing time back in April. I was welcomed and treated like a queen every where I went. BE AWARE if you have small children traveling with you, locals will hug and kiss your small children. I suggest not bringing small children if this will anger you. My tour guide was Mr. Brown Sugar. He was so amazing I sent some friends to him a couple of weeks later. I highly recommend him!

Overall this was a great trip. I however got cursed out inside of a church….. We jumped on a tour last minute to the beach. On the tour we made a few historical stops on the way to the beach, one of which was a church. We were dressed in swimsuits and cover ups and a woman cussed us out for being dressed inappropriately. This was a tourist mistake, both ours and the tour guide. Know all of the stops of your tours and dress appropriately.

I visited Malta May 3-6. I stayed at the intercontinental. My stay was nothing short of AMAZING! I stayed in a standard room on the 11th floor. The best features of the room were the bathroom and balcony view. The hotel staff was amazing and very accommodating. I especially loved the excursion concierge (I don’t recall his name). He was very patient in helping me find the right adventures. On Friday I missed my group tour and he called around the island at my request to arrange a private tour of Gozo Island. Initially I was afraid to venture out on my own but I am so glad I did. I took a 35 euro taxi ride to the ferry to Gozo island where I met my tour guide Joseph (Barkuna1977@hotmail.com +356 79557168). He took me on what we in the states refer to as an “ATV” ride tour across the whole island. To my surprise, there is no crime in Gozo and Joseph told me to leave my belongings on the atv at each stop. I trusted him and did so without a problem. Saturday I stayed at the hotel and visited the exclusive roof top pool. The infinity pool looked over the city with breath taking views. The food at the bar was great as well, I suggest fried calamari. Sunday I ventured off and took a taxi back to the ferry to visit the Blue Lagoon at Comino Island. My driver was amazing and had the most entertaining personality (jimmy’s taxi 000356 99495088). We took a ferry to the lagoon and a speed boat back. I highly suggest taking a speed boat both ways. The food at the lagoon was great and well priced as were the souvenirs. If you’re interested in action, stop by the orphanage umbrellas to purchase boat rides and water sports. To get to the other end of the lagoo we took a boat ride across for 5euros. To my surprise once we arrived we had to walk up and across a very dangerous mountainous hill. It was so scary that I swam across the lagoon rather than hike back though I purchased round trip tickets. Near/under the cave the lagoon is very slippery with rough currents and filled with rocks. Though there were small children there I only recommend the lagoon for adults and teens. It was dangerous but definitely some of the best fun I have ever had.

I stayed at Wyndham Lucaya. Aside from a short tour, I did not venture off of the resort. I did the all inclusive package. Which included, food, drinks, and non motor water sports. There is a bar inside of the hotel and another on the beach. If you want to relax get your drinks from inside. If you want to become immediately drunk.... go see the guys at the bar on the beach lol.

THE MOST FUN I HAVE HAD IN MY WHOLE LIFE!! Early in the morning I swam with the Dolphins. I paid $150 and my family paid about $120 to play and pet them without getting in. No cameras were allowed and the pictures were very expensive. $35 for 1 print or $80 for a cd of all pictures of a single person. For our group of 5 the fee was $250 for a cd with all of our photos. We later found out that some people were able to talk them down and paid a lot less. None the less, swimming with the dolphins was an amazing experience that I recommend. Be sure to get a taxi ride from a local. I recommend a lady name Veronica if you can find her. At the top of a mountain there is a breath taking view at the center of the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. DON’T LEAVE WITHOUT SEEING THIS. After the tour I went to the beach. I don’t recall which one but we walked through a bar to enter. The beach is a perfect place to relax or engage in water sport. I rode the jet ski alone and took a banana tube ride with my family. The taxi ride, food, and water sports were all very reasonable. We paid $15 each for the taxi which included our tour and pick up from the beach. The banana boat was $10 each, and I paid $20 to ride the jet ski.

I stopped in Bridgetown for a day last week while on a tour. The water at the beach was one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. Beware, it’s full of crabs. I took a taxi ride with a native. He took us through the town and gave us a tour along with the history. I highly recommend this. Tours during excursions are okay. However they are no where near as personal and in depth as with a native. My family and I also went on a submarine ride for $89 (we received a 10% discount for a group of 8) that was pretty cool.
