A Little About Me:
Black adventure travel blogger that loves to experience nature and thrill seeking activities with a touch of soft life.
I went to Reykjavik, Iceland in the fall and fell in love with it. I loved the 7 step Icelandic bath ritual at Sky Lagoon. The views from the longest infinity pool in Iceland while you soak in warm thermal waters is so relaxing. See the full experience of Sky Lagoon in this video: https://youtu.be/o6nlssYekLU Fly Over Iceland is a fun attraction that takes you on a virtual flight across some of the country’s most beautiful scenery. From the city there many tour operators that offer trips to see the gorgeous scenery. Spice of Iceland (https://www.spiceoficeland.com) was a great guide. We hiked to a glacier and to the famous black sand beach. We saw lots of waterfalls. My favorites were Skogafoss, Godafoss, Seljalandsfoss, and Urridafoss. If you can only do one tour South Coast is more scenic than the Golden Circle tour but do both of you can. If you are super adventurous like me, you can Snorkel or dive between tectonic plates of 2 continents. It was a crazy experience that you can’t do anywhere else in the world. My homebase for my adventures was Alda Hotel. It is a great walkable location, modern, and comfortable. They have an outdoor hot tub in a small courtyard. They also provide a local cell phone for your use during your stay with helpful preloaded apps and you can use it to make local calls.
