I have nothing but good things to say about the DR. We stayed at the Royalton-Punta Cama and the service, facility, and amentities were all good. In the day, we enjoyed the amazing daily activities(volleyball, dancing in the pool, Zumba, etc) hosted by the staff and the water park. At night the resort put on great shows and the dance club played the nicest tunes all night. The excursion were great and very safe and the daily/nightly food selection was very tasty. My only qualm was learning the history of the Dominicans and the Hatiatians..and how they are treated as a result..and the amount of money they get for all the hard work.

Experiencing the history of London in London, surpassed any knowldege or idea that I ever had about England. Its absolutely gorgeous and the details are unforgettable. Shopping was a bit over whelming because there are so many options, so do your research and have a plan. I would also recommend doing a Euro tour if your in London as the prices to travel to Paris etc are very cheap. The safety aspect gives you a peace of mind if your traveling alone or without a guide and getting around is very easy if your familar with public transportation. I have friends in London, so I primarily lodged with my friends. But I was able to find a very reasonable hotel near the airport with shuttle services.

Oranjestad Aruba, was very relaxing, but very hot(not your normal tropical heat more sweltering heat). There were a lot of cute shops in walking distance from our hotel in the day and at night...the same shops catered to the party goers. Even though Aruba had a few good night clubs, I still felt like I was in the States vs on tropical island. The same with the food, I would have preferred to have more native food than American food. As far as excursion, we were able to do everything we wanted to do in one day(in Oranjestad). We rented a jeep and went to Saint Franciscus Church, Bushiribana Gold Mills Ruins(loved building a house out of rocks, etc, etx), Aruba Street car(lots of amazing shops..hop on hop off), Renaissance Mall, saw the natural bridge and pool. If your looking for a relaxing vacation- Aruba is the place. But if your looking for adventure, a true cultural experience(food, lifestyle, history), Aruba wouldn't be my top choice.
