This country is my absolute favorite and gets 5 stars down the line. It’s cheap, the massages are very cheap, the street food is amazing, they have elephant sanctuaries, the people are very welcoming. It was a very spiritual awakening trip for me and i plan on going back I went up north to chiang Mai, a small country town, a hour flight north of Bangkok. It was only $30 one way. Bangkok is similar to New York. Big, noisy, dirty, tons of people, a lot going on. I spent maybe $120 on accommodations in a whole two weeks

This is literally a history buffs dream. It’s everything that’s described in our text books and more. I stayed in Cairo for about a week, explored the city, went to the national museum where king TUT coffin is, the pyramids, the great Phinx. My overall trip was free because i had United miles, but the typical round trip range was $1000. My hotel was $30 a night in a good area of cairo. DO NOT rent a car. The driving there is really wreck less. There is no lines on the ground for organization. They honk to merge. Another thing i did not like is that they are aggressive sales men, and will ask for a tip for everything.

Today i went to Monteverde, Costa Rica. It’s north west of the Capital San Jose. It’s a relaxed quiet town, with a lot of outdoor adventure. I did the Tarzan Swing which is the tallest swing in central and South America. It was $40 to get in. The staff were really cool. Joked around so you wouldn’t be so nervous.

I just got back from a trip at Lake Antigua Guatamala. It was a gorgeous lake, surrounded by 7 small cities. Each city had its own unique personality. The lake was formed 84,000 years ago when a volcano erupted, destroying the city that was there. There are many your hikes that you can take to get a high viewpoint of the lake, that has panoramic views. I did a hike called the Indian Nose. It’s the best one there. The tour company picks you up at your hotel at 4am so you can catch the sunrise. The cost was about $25 but well worth it. The temperature was about 65 degrees as the town is at high altitude and deep in the mountains
