We stayed in Frankfurt for 4 days and it proved to be a very modern European city. The Frankfurt airport is one of the nicest in the world (very well organized) and connected to the entire city. Known for being the financial capital of Germany, most of the city is modern high rises. There are still hints of older/traditional German architecture sprinkled around the city and of course lots of beer. If you like museums, this is a city for you. From architecture, to modern art, to cinema, there are museums for every walk of life (there is even a museum street parallel to the main canal that goes through Frankfurt am Main. The "local" german food was not our favorite but Frankfurt proved to be an epicenter for international food. There were restaurants from all over the world in the city so there was always too much to choose from (a good problem to have in my opinion if you are a foodie).

Florence is a Mecca of art and an absolute must-see! In a city where wine is cheaper than water...what’s not to love? The city has an aura of romance while tastefully showing how much art and history is there. There are lots of museums and sites to visit as well as one day tours which are easily accessible. We went on a day tour to Pisa as well as a day tour driving around Tuscany. And the food is top notch!!! Definitely a city for foodies and romantics.

Marrakech is a beautiful city full of life all day and night. From the colors and smells in the souks to the beautiful hotels (both in old town & new town) to the siteseeing (YSL gardens) to mint tea all day long. Morocco is one of the most liberal Islamic countries in Africa so you will see melting pot of cultures all around. Speaking french is a plus in case you don’t speak morocccan Arabic. We speak french and had no trouble communicating most of the time. We would also recommend a 2 or 3 day trip to the Sahara desert. It’s a long trek (10hrs by car with views of the Atlas Mountains along the way from Marrakech ) but the views of the Sahara Desert are breathtaking. Also remember that you have to bargain when you shop, it’s part of the Moroccan culture. They will respect you more for it :)

Costa Rica was the most relaxing vacation we’ve ever had (and we travel often). We chose to rent a car and drive up to the mountains first (where we hiked to waterfalls, did 12 ziplines, horseback riding, eating with the locals, hot springs, etc). The volcano views from La Fortuna are absolutely beautiful and the air is so fresh. Next we drove down to the beach in guanacaste and saw the most breathtaking sunsets. Along the beach we also enjoyed ourselves by jet skiing, riding atv’s during the sunset, etc. Costa Rica is very safe and the locals are genuinely nice. Loved it and would recommend to anyone!!!
