My family and I visited Oahu, Hawaii, and stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. While we didn’t see many other Black travelers, we were treated well throughout our stay. The locals were incredibly warm and welcoming, greeting us as if we were longtime friends. The only noticeable coldness came from some Japanese tourists, but that wasn't surprising given cultural differences. Overall, we felt safe and genuinely welcomed, making our trip a great experience.
