I went there in 2016 on a solo trip. This city is very young and artsy. The art scene is really moving! And they are really black-friendly. Black is cool! But of course many Lithuanian people ( generally older) will look at you by curiosity because not a lot of black people are travelling in their country. The City is very SAFE. I was walking late at alone in the streets. 1) Vilnius, the capital city: Book a free walking tour to get introduced better to the history of the city and country https://www.tripadvisor.fr/Attraction_Review-g274951-d4368275-Reviews-Vilnius_Free_Tour-Vilnius_Vilnius_County.html -A walk through the old town -And golden hour in Front of Saint Anne Cathedral, You have never seen such light mixed with architecture. It touches your soul like the holy spirit, Haha! A must-do! -Visit the Uzupis republic whick like Christiania in Copenhagen or a bit like Montmartre in Paris. Their life rules is so interesting and funny. -Get lost in the little passages and streets around the central place of the city 2) Kaunas : It is the second city of the country and 45mn by train from Vilnius. you can do a day trip to visit the Kaunas Castle and church and the way people in Lithuania really lives because the capital city is not always the bg picture of a country. Have a lunch at Gryte restaurant for typical Lithuanian food

1°) Pristina the capital city: - Museum of Kosovo to know the story of this nation that is independant since only 10 years -Saint Mother Theresa cathedral (Mother Teresa was actually from Kosovo) -Stop by Bukatore Cafe for some Kosovo Delicatessen and it is Dua Lipa's father coffe shop. So you might meet some people in this very cosy and affordable coffee, haha 2°) Prizren: The historical city of Prizren where the DokuFest Film festival is held every summer. The river is so pure and splendid, the architecture, the people, the history. The city is small so you make a tour of the historic city center by feet 3°) Rugova mountains: Guys, this is a masterpiece of nature. It is better than Switzerland and so untouched. You can stay in a Chalet, do some Hiking, Going to the breathtaking River, eating, meditating, regenerating and loving. If one day I organise a restorative retreat or a romantic soft moment, it will be there. I suggest you to stay at "Teliqeni Rugova", it is a resort in the mountains of Rugova. It is very affordable. It was not more that 20/25 € the room. You should go there with a taxi or by car. Here is the Taxi number I took. He took me from Pristina to Te liqeni Rugova and from Te liqeni to the airport for 50 euros https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RX0tQYqJq78 4°) Do not forget to try some delicious Kosovo wine :-) You can check all of this in my story highlights "Kosovo" : https://www.instagram.com/thecolouredwaltz/
