Mykonos was the second stop for my honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing! If you love party, drink and lounge on a beautiful beach, Mykonos is the island for you. I recommend taking a trip over to Paradise Beach club. There are a ton of beach loungers and chairs that you can rent for the day, the staff is plentiful and make sure you are well feed and will have the drinks following if you order. At about 3 or 4 pm the beach party starts and people start to make their way over to the huge bar area to get drinks and dance. The party is non-stop until about 4-5 am in the morning. It’s a must do activity if you are in town. Another recommendation is to head over to Little Venice to shop, eat, bar hop and party. It’s a beautiful town with more white buildings with blue accents next to the water.

I had the pleasure of going to Greece for my honeymoon and it was a fantastic trip. We started our trip off in Athens for 3 days and had a wonderful time. Athens reminds me of NYC because the city is always packed with people and there’s always ton of stuff to do or eat! My husband and I loved all the restaurants and street food that we tried. Sauvvas is an awesome restaurant with an amazing view of the Parthenon. When you walk in, it doesn’t look like much but once you go up to the 4th floor you will see why the restaurant has raving reviews. A must do in Athens is also Dinner in the Sky. I have done some pretty cool stuff in my life but having a 4 course dinner while being suspended on a crane in the middle of Athens takes the cake. The dinner was delicious, the staff was super friendly and you can not beat the amazing views.

My trip to Egypt was the trip of a lifetime for my husband and I. We booked a travel package that included our hotel stay in Cairo, 4 night Nile river cruise, domestic airfare in Egypt, airport and hotel transportation and guided tour for our 8 day trip. It was a fantastic experience and I would recommend that if you are heading to Egypt to have a tour guide for majority of your stay. In Cairo we stayed at the Le Meridien which has a fantastic view of the Great Pyramids. We took a day to explore The Great Pyramid, the Sphinx, the Cairo Musuem and Old Cairo and it was wonderful having our tour guide by our side to inform us about the rich history of this country. Our 4 night Nile river cruise started in Aswan, Egypt so we were able to take the 3/4 hour drive to Abu Simbel (a must see), we also went to the Temple of Philae and saw the Nubian villages. Throughout the cruise we explored the Temple of Komo Ombo, the Temple of Karnak, Valley of the Kings, and Hatshepsut’s Temple. It was very convenient that our Nile river cruise also included breakfast, lunch and dinner and had fun activities for guests to do at night. I truly enjoyed my stay on the Radamis II and would recommend this cruise ship to others who are looking for an affordable and relaxing Nile River cruise.
