I stayed at the Iberostar in Montego Bay. This is an all inclusive beachfront resort. The Iberostar is a newer resort, so everything was clean and up to date. Several restaurants and pools located on the resort. Open bars with amazing drinks everywhere. All included room service around the clock. Amazing staff!! Beautiful people!! Very nice place to stay!
The Griddle Cafe on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood California is an absolute must!! I had "The Golden Ticket" pancakes!!! These were thee best pancakes I have ever had in my entire life!! So huge, I ate on them for three days!!! You may see some celebrities. If you have a large group and want privacy, there's a room in the back you can be seated at. It's was pretty cozy!
I stayed at the Now Larimar in Punta Cana DR. This is an all inclusive resort with multiple restaurants and night clubs. It's a beachfront resort with several pools. Non-stop fun! There were various pool parties held everyday. The vibe of the Dominican people is straight sexy! As sexy as this place is, it's still kid friendly. Kids were running around everywhere. I was there as a bridesmaid for a friends wedding. We met a couple of guys who worked at the resort (1 Dominican and 1 Haitian). We exchanged numbers and later that night once the guys were off, we linked up. That's when the real adventure began. They took us to a strip club (the dancers weren't too friendly; I think they were hating on us) they did however seem to enjoy the American men. We walked to several different nightclubs and the people seemed friendly. We did feel a slightly jealous vibe from the local woman. Along the way, there were a lot of Hatian and Dominican men riding motorbikes. They would stop and cat-call at us. The two men who escorted us instructed us to not speak at all. They didn't want the locals to hear our American accent. Our decision to leave the resort was extremely risky and we actually ran into multiple sticky situations on our way back to the resort. Luckily, everyone was safe thanks to our two male escorts. All in all, I don't regret it!! Anyhow, the resort itself is very safe and absolutely lovely! Please think long and hard before leaving the resort at night and if you do venture off, travel in a large group and make sure you have a trustworthy escort to show you around.
We stayed at Blue Views Villa in Camps Bay! Camps Bay is a very affluent area in Cape Town, very safe. This is a luxury villa and it's absolutely beautiful. 4 bedrooms 5 baths. Myself and 4 other young ladies split the cost of staying there for a week. Housekeepers came by every morning to clean. The Villa is across the street from the beach and walking distance from "the strip" several restaurants and shops. Capetown is loaded with history and adventure. The VA waterfront was the focal point in which we booked all of our adventures (shark diving, Robben Island, Langa Township, etc...). The people are beautiful and absolutely everything they cook tastes good (gained about 5-7lbs that week)!!!!!!!!!! This place is an absolutely must! We absolutely didn't want to leave!!!!
