Stayed a night in baton rouge and have a couple times in the past. The city is medium sized and there is a large black population. I had good soul food and I stayed at the lauberge resort and casino. The casino occupied most of my time, but inside downtown there are things to do (museums, food and bars, etc) and explore. Overall baton rouge was a pleasant stay and I would return again
