Has a very long history as a sundown town. Not only are they racist, they’re classist, and if you’re not wealthy, you will be looked down upon. Lots of crime that gets ignored here and in the surrounding cities such as St. Clair Shores, Roseville, Ferndale, Warren. Be careful of the police; Macomb and Oakland County cops are racist. Do not recommend stopping here for long especially at night.
Some shops can be decent but it’s very unwelcoming energy.
