So Day 1 and 2 of our Road Trip destination, we traveled to Little Rock, Arkansas. It was a nice drive; now I know to always add about an hour extra to include restroom stops and gas fill-ups…but anyways it was a little over 9 hour drive. We stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites-Little Rock Downtown. The Hotel is pretty nice and updated; breakfast was good and this was around decent places to walk to, including food, parks and the river. There is also a free trolley hat takes you all over…but we, unfortunately didn’t get to get on. The Mosaic Temolar Musuem is a real nice look into history and everyone there is really nice (they take donations, no fee entry). We also of course went to The Little Rock Central High visitor site and saw the high school. The visitor site is awesome and they do have packets for the kids to fill out. We spent hours there! It is a lot of history! They have the interactive exhibits with the phones too to tell the stories from the desegregation. I learned something new too!! I would definitely recommend going to these places! The river walk is nice too! Oh and apparently, this downtown is more of a corporate district so you don’t see a lot of people walking around; but it is nice! There is also a martial arts gardens that we walked too! The gateway is beautiful! And of course, you see some of the usual as in any downtown.
