I live here currently, and for the most part it isn’t awful I guess. Most white people say the n word out here and most of the other black kids don’t care for some reason. Not a lot of physical harm would come to you, but there have been multiple occasions where people would yell the n word out of their car window unprovoked. this includes at my sister who was about 4 at the time in our front yard, they didn’t live around us and its in a cul-de-sac so they cane specifically to do that. No one has tried to hurt me personally for being black and most of the white kids that say the n word aren’t saying it at you (even though they shouldn’t say it at all). In most parts you will be just fine, but be careful driving from here to Ocala especially at night.
