Traveling While Black
Buckeye AZ is a ver diverse town. The people are generally friendly, and are very community driven. Due to Buckeye growing, there’s always new homes being built in the area. Places I would avoid doing business in are Verrado specifically. In particular, there’s a Maxillofacial surgeons office that is fairly racist. Please beware and do not get oral surgery in Verrado.
I’ve lived in buckeye now for 5 years as a black woman. I regularly go to the gym, get my car serviced, and eat out frequently in the area as well as groccery shop. Old Buckeye has many kind country people who like to chat and smile often. I love Buckeye and the people!
