Jerusalem is where it is at in terms of History. Go to the wailing wall, see the view with the dome, the tomb of Jesus, sail on a boat in Galilee, get baptised in Jordan/ Galilee and float in the dead sea. I felt really emotional walking by the courts that tried Jesus & the pool Bethesda (where Jesus told told the paralysed man to get up & walk.). Did I mention I broke my foot whilst there and survived another week till I got home.

People travel here from all over the world, differentc cultures , ethnities and races, not just Christians that want to follow Jesus’s steps (of which I am). You will be shocked when you arrive as Tel Aviv looks like Miami. You can surf and watch the sun set on the Mediterranean sea. History starts in Jerusalem.

Definately black friendly. I was warned it is not in their culture to overtalk don’t dismiss them as rude. Israel is very used to tourists and are happy people.

    TIP:
Take the coach at the City Centre about $10 as Hotel Transfers start from $60 . So get the ordinary coach and a small cab drive if needed- MAJOR SAVING!

To save costs you are better off without a guide as costs are 20 times the mark-up.

Please dont watch the news before you go. I went as they were mid “World War 3” (Historical/political unrest & propaganda- you will be FINE).

JERUSALEM is AN AMAZING place for many obvious reasons! But below you’ll find a list of things that I did, that I would recommend anyone to go and do as also, especially if you’re interested in the Biblical history of the place:

    1. You can go to the “Wailing Wall” and place your prayers onto it. The Jews used to do this because they were not permitted to pray publicly. I personally also had a moment of silence for the Lord And All Of Those Suffering Souls That Have Taken Refuge There.

    2. You Can Walk THE ROAD TO CALVARY, Most Likely Stepping On Some Of The Same EXACT Spots That Jesus Stumbled On As He Bore His Cross In Unexplainable Pain All Those Years Ago.

    3. Along The Calvary Road Walk,
You Can Place Your Hand On The Groove Of The Wall Where It Is Said That Jesus Leaned Helplessly To Rest When He Was Close To Passing Out From Carrying The Cross.

    4. Another Stop On The Calvary Road Walk Is The Station Where Jesus Finally Dropped The Cross Out Of UTTER Exhaustion, Where You Can See His Actual Crown Of Thorns Hung On The Wall. (WOW. I Was Floored By This.)

    5. You Can Actually Kneal On An Altar Built Upon The Very Spot Where Pontius Pilot And His Men Crucified Jesus And Tortured Him For HOURS.

    6. You Can Visit Jesus’s TOMB Inside Of The Massive Church And Actually Go Inside And Pray.

This Is Just A Synopsis Of What I Did. All Of These Were Very Meaningful Things To Do, So If You’re Looking For That, Sign Up For A Guided Tour So That Your Guide Can Tell You The History That Goes Along With Everything.

If You Haven’t Been, PLEASE GO! Even If You’re Not Religious At All, You WILL FEEL The Undeniable Energy, Emotion & History That Emenates From This City.

I arrived at the airport of Telaviv which is has a very beautiful Ritchie. To get to Jerusalem we go through some check points, so it is very important to always have passports in hand. Walking through the labyrinths of Jerusalem is thrilling, past the Tower of David, Natavity church. You feel contagious energy, for it is a precious land. Even for people who have no faith, there is no way they can not be moved. The wall of lamentations brings together people from all over the world in prayers, it is worth stopping, praying and observing. Strolling through the shops and shopping for souvenirs and spices will take you on a dip in Arabica culture and you can not miss out on the delicious Arabica coffee with cardamom! The knafe dessert is a delicious sweet. The handicraft made of olive wood and hand painted pircelanas are great souvenirs to take home.

So much to see, you must go to Jerusalem and visit the Western Wall and experience the power of prayer. It is a tradition to write down your deepest prayers and wishes on a piece of paper and stick them into the wall. The tomb of David is beautiful to experience as well. There so much to see and so much power in the atmosphere here! I swear you can feel it’s Gods resting place. Most beautiful city in the world. Must try the local shwarma food as well. It’s delicious ?
