Nerja is the one destination that i like the least that I have been to.
Mostly because its a small “city” in southern Spain and that means that you will most likely be the only black one in the whole city. That leads to that the people there are not used to seeing black people and can be a bit racist.
I went there with my black friends and we were very uncomfortable and the people just couldnt stop stare at us lol.
The small city is beautiful but i would not recommend black people going there not only because its only white old people there but also because the food there was horrible, I know its not relevant but its important to eat good food, and you will not find it there Lol. Also the nightlife there was shit, and i think its because the majority there are old people. Everything was closed at like 9 pm. The only thing thats was open were one shisha/hookah place.
So if you are considering going to Nerja, think twice unless you want to be surrounded by old white people and eat unseasoned food lol.
