Olney, Texas is located in the northwest part of Texas. This town has extremely racist vibes. While traveling home from Dallas, we had to stop here to use the restroom at a gas station. While stopped we noticed that there weren’t very many minorities located anywhere. While using the restroom multiple people in our party noticed that we were getting very dirty and ugly looks. After we left, my grandfather revealed that black people used to go missing in this area with no history of it. I also researched and found that of the 3,007 people in the town, the black population is only .80% of the town population. Yes,8 tenths, maybe 20-25 black people, if that. They have successfully made their town as white washed as possible.
