Traveling while Black in Puerto Carrillo, Costa Rica, offers a unique blend of vibrant natural beauty and cultural experiences. While Costa Rica generally boasts a reputation for its “Pura Vida” (pure life) ethos and welcoming atmosphere towards tourists, it’s important to acknowledge the food,drinks,beach especially ( playacarrillo) a beautiful beach in Costa Rica . I recommend going if your black❤️ it is race positive and accept any kind❤️.
What a beautiful place. There is loads of nature. We saw monkeys, sloths and bulls. The food was incredible and the people were pleasant. There are Afro-Latinos here as well. So you don’t stuck out like a sore thumb.
