Puerto Viejo, Limon, Costa Rica lies on the Caribbean coast of this Central American country. Costa Rica is known for its ‘Pura vida’ vibes, lush vegetation, and outdoor adventure activities, but don’t skip the Caribbean coast. Rich history lies in the state of Limon particularly around Jamaican ‘Ticos’ who were brought over to build the railroad and have maintained their cuture and language a part from the rest of the country. It’s worth visiting Victoria’s place for local Caribbean cuisine and hearing the history of her families legacy in the area.
