Manuel Antonio is a National Park for a reason! We hired a guide for a short 2 hour sightseeing trip, but wish we would have stayed longer. The nature, the beauty, the diverse wildlife is all incredibly exciting to experience.

Manuel Antonio is a small town housing the national park. It’s within Quepos, which also brings a good amount of things to do like kayaking through Mangroves, Spice Tours, Catamaran cruises, ATV tours and massive waterfalls.

The culture in Costa Rica, outside of San Jose, felt very welcoming and kind. Pura Vida truly is a way of life and has a much deeper meaning here. It was incredible to meet such kind people every step of the way here. The way of life feels slower, and because there’s no sidewalk through the main road, a little less safe but not in a dangerous way.

This is also a great area to take a group because there are a large amount of accommodations for all budget ranges.
