I’m working here for the summer. One thing I’ve learned about these private clubs/resorts, this is where they come to escape Black people. Not so much racism as much as microaggressions and racial bias. These are the people who don’t wear MAGA hats. Not because they don’t support him, but because they’re trashy(the supporters who wear the merch are trashy). The closest melenated area is Winston-Salem. My advice, just go there. It’s not a bad place, and I don’t feel as if I’m in danger. Just uncomfortable.
