Had a work meeting in Taylor, MI where I stayed at the Fairfield by Marriott Inn. This location is very clean, safe, quiet and the staff are hospitable.
Just make sure you receive a paper receipt for your stay. I had a reservation days before I arrived and was billed twice for the room. The staff member mirrored my original reservation, all except my first name and increased the rate to a whole new reservation that she created. Didn’t catch this until I viewed my transactions from my credit card. So she changed my company and my personal credit card.
