Terlingua is known as the desert Ghost town. It is a popular base city for visiting Big Bend National Park that has amazing hiking trails from easy to expert. The views are amazing. Sunrises and sunsets are so pretty here as well.
Terlingua is full of glamping/camping options which can get booked up during months when weather is nice like fall and spring. We enjoyed lodging at Basecamp Terlingua in a bubble unit- Bubble X. The best experience sleeping in a bubble in a town that is known for having the darkest skies in the US. We also camped and stayed in a Tipi at Basecamp Terlingua. The tipi was not our fav at this location due to the tipis not being sealed you are in the middle of the desert with all sorts of critters.
