Very rural agricultural community. Avoid the area if pregnant – this is the town that arrested a woman for having a miscarriage at 19 weeks gestation in 2025. Not much to do in the area anyway – unless you enjoy shopping for tractors in your free time.
There’s not much to do but there is a mix community of black and white people. Everyone was laid back. Visited Applebee’s and stayed at Microtel. Everything was quite affordable, quiet and calm
This is a very racist part of Georgia. Make sure that when you’re driving through here you’re not going even 1 mile over the speed limit. Stay in the middle or right lane. When planning your trip make sure to only stop at the Buccees for gas and food and keep pushing through.
