A Little About Me:
I love travelling! Mostly for the adventure, food and culture! Since I cant seem to get myself to start a blog, I'll share my experiences here ?
I was in Lome for just about 4 days and I stayed with a friend so there is not too much to say about the place. It is quite a calm city and not too expensive. Food in Lome is delicious. Pure plage is a very good place to just relax by the beach. I visited O Lodge which was supposed to have a mini waterpark but unfortunately there was not much going on there. Lome would be good for just a few days of relaxation and good food. I will visit there again, I intend to see some more of Lome, to experience some waterfalls and some night life.
Rome is filled with rich history. There are so many historical sites to visit in Rome, the colliseum, cistern chapel, trevi fountain, spanish steps, roman forum, pantheon... so so many. You can tour the city using the hop on hop off bus or you can take a tour with one of the local guides. I took a walking tour with a local guide, it is a good opportunity to see quite a lot of places and to get the history of the place from a local. I am not too much of the history lover but I did enjoy my walking tour. I took another experience with Roma Eat Food team. I completely loved the experience. It was a day walking tour where we went to some archeological sites as well as some of the most authentic food and snack places in Rome. Our guide took us to the best gelato place and showed us how to spot a real gelato from a fake one. We had one of the best cannoli, the best tiramisu and we were taken to a cheese heaven (as i called it) ! It was amazing. I also took a pasta and tiramisu making class with gianicoloterrace (you can check her out on instagram). It was perfect! She is an amazing teacher and has a great sense of humour. You also get to meet other travellers and it is truly an amazing experience. I loved dinner at la fiorentina which was close to our hotel. I loved the weather in Rome as well. It was generally a good experience in Rome.
Cape town is one of my favourite destinations! It is interesting very budget friendly as well. There are loads to do in cape town! I visited the table mountain, used the cable car , checked skydiving off my bucket list! I had the indoor shooting range experience and it was amazing! I truly enjoyed my time in capetown. We booked an apartment which was quite close to V & A mall. That place is amazing! I've been to capetown twice, the first time I stayed at the waterfront. Food in capetown is delicious and very affordable too. Capetown is so beautiful and I absolutely love the weather. There is plenty of food and plenty of things to do...
Dubai is amazing! You could never go wrong choosing to visit Dubai. I spent 7 days there and I wish I had more days so I'll definitely want to see there again! There is a whole lot of things to do in Dubai.. you can never get bored. I stayed at the Atana hotel. They had shuttles going to the mall and other places each day and that was very very helpful. The hop on hop off bus is a very ideal way to see the city and you can purchase tickets at the mall of Emirates. The dessert safari is a truly amazing experience from the rides to dinner to the belly dance show. You definitely need to go to a waterpark! I went to the Atlantis the palm waterpark. There are many others that you can visit though. The dhow cruise dinner was also a nice experience. You could also do the ice skating at the mall. I visited a couple of malls... Mercato mall is a beautiful one. It is not as big as the Dubai mall. Visit the outlet village for some good shopping deals too. Dubai is the place where everyone with any kind of interests would definitely enjoy!
Accra!!! Most of the reviews have captured of vital information so I'll mention a few things you can do in Ghana! If you're up for it you should definitely take a few hours drive out of Accra to Ada, treasure island! It's a very lovely resort. Definitely go for karaoke at champs, you'll have a nice night out. Try our Ghana jollof for sure. Also go to any of the atieke joints to try this ivorian delicacy here in Accra. For some fun, visit paintball gods or war games gh. If you're a fun of Safaris visit Mole national park in the North for a really great time.
I love love Singapore! I've felt the safest in that country! There are so many things to do and many places to visit! Universal studios, sentosa, indoor skydiving, gardens by the bay. I've been there twice and each time was super memorable. Travelling while black tip, if you're a tall dark African man, you could be assumed for Michael Jordan and people would want to take pictures with you! Lol! Every was so helpful though, the people are so warm and friendly!
Paris Paris Paris! Literally every meal we ate there was amazing! I don't know if that is the case with everyone. 10th arrondissement is famous for Indian food so if you love Indian food, I'll recommend there! Bontemps Paris in the 3rd arrondissement if you love a good tea time. Hollybelly for the brunch of life! And the tasting menu at Caillebotte is just amazing!
I was in Bali for 8 days and it was just amazing! I certainly would visit again. Bali is full of so many activities you could just tire yourself hoping from one activity to the next, also considering that most activities are not in the same vicinity, you may have to travel a couple of hours around the city to get things done so remember to give yourself some time to rest and enjoy the beautiful nature, scenery and food especially in Ubud. Some of the things I did include rafting (do remember to take sunscreen of you don't want to come out of this activity two shades darker due to the length of time you spend in the sun), snorkelling in kuta, nusa penida which wasn't as easy as I thought, lol, so first timers caveat! Definitely have tea time in any resort that you stay in, definitely get a Balinese massage, the bali zoo experience is sooo amazing!, for your instagrammable photos visit Bali swing! Have lunch at kintamani and enjoy some great views of the volcanic mountain. There is so much to do in Bali so take as much time as you need and enjoy the place!
