The first stop you should make in Atlanta is The Beltline. There are numerous bars, restaurants and parks that are very popular no matter what season it is. There are three W Hotels in the city and make for a great place to catch a pool party or have a drink in a lively bar with local DJs. Piedmont Park is the home for many festivals or just locals enjoying nice weather. Edgewood Ave is another great place to visit if you're looking to bar hop or run into pop-up events. East Palisades Trail is one of the best walking travels for a quick break from the city and amazing views of nature. Ponce City Market will cure all of your shopping, skyline view, food cravings and adventure all in one stop. If you have a car and a little extra time then head an hour north of the city towards a small sunflower farm. The farm is open some time between June/July but the timeframe and duration depend on weather.
Ibiza is a short flight over from Barcelona and you honestly don"t need more than three days to have a great time. We chose to go during the first week of October which is perfect if you want to save a little money and the crowds are slightly smaller. Fortunately, we were able to attend O Beach's closing party and it was nothing short of a great time. This is an event that can go from day party to full on evening party depending on how well you pace yourself. Make sure you wear your favorite bikini, and trendy cover up and comfy shoes! Joe Spoons is a great place with decent drink specials and a break from house/EDM music. Cafe del Mar is talked about all the time when speaking of Ibiza and it doesn't disappoint. The sangria is phenomenal and a better deal to order the entire pitcher. Wi-Ki-Woo Hotel is the best IG friendly, colorful, good time mixed in with ocean views. Another place I would suggest ordering an entire pitcher of sangria because it's a better deal. The hotel bar is relaxing with great service and steps aways from the ocean. The closing season offers lots of deal and chances to see more things. Surf Lounge was a really nice spot with a Flow Rider for those that crave adventure as well as pool and bar. S'Escalinata hands down is the best place to go to watch the sunset, have a refreshing cocktail and amazing guacamole. Keep in mind Ibiza is definitely pricey compared to other places in Spain.
Puerto Rico has become my go to place when I'm in need of sun, fun and a moment to relax. San Juan is the most popular destination when traveling to Puerto Rico. Old San Juan is very easy to get around without a car or a quick Uber ride. When i did need to call an Uber most rides were all under $9. Pani Agua is my all time FAVORITE place and usually first stop. It is a Puerto Rican restaurant and bar that serves the best empanadas and mojitos. The best about Pani Agua is you will enjoy yourself whether is lunch, the evening or place to start your evening. Greengos Caribbean Cantina has an amazing happy hour and the nachos are a must. Celebrating a birthday or anniversary, Sofia's Old San Juan is your place. They will definitely set the tone with amazing service, food and evening recommendations. Punto de Vista Rooftop Restaurant is the perfect place for city views and good drinks while watching the sunset. Blonda Condado is a quick Uber ride from Old San Juan and a great place for brunch. What's brunch without mimosa?! Blonda delivers with an amazing mimosa flights for those who can't really decide on one flavor.
When you think about visiting Cuba the first thing you usually have in mind are the old cars. Luckily Old Havana has more than enough things to do and views of the amazing city. Personally, I love to see local art work on any trip i go on and Havana definitely delivered. Callejon de Hamel is a lovely street filled with lots of street art, live music and paintings showcasing the local culture. Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes is another great stop for art lovers and a couple moments to escape the busy street. If you're looking for the best view of the city and a decent cocktail then head to the rooftop of Hotel Ambos Mundos. Depending on how much time you have or how far you want to travel, there are a few options for beaches. Playa Santa Maria is relatively close to Old Havana with the options to order foods and drinks on the beach. There is a fantastic nature swimming pool at the Copacabana hotel that allows you to buy a day pass to enjoy all of the amenities.
