Travel is our key to the world and I’m just so glad I get to indulge in it from time to time. I recently visited Barcelona and Ibiza, which are both located in Spain. Ibiza is known for their party culture (they live up to their reputation) and Barcelona for its culture and architecture. I always try to mix some culture with a good time and you can never visit Europe and only go to one place. It’s a disjustice to yourself and your pockets. Traveling inside of Europe is relatively inexpensive depending on your budget. I caught a flight through Ryanair for about $300 but their were cheaper options if I had left or come in on different days and booked sooner. Some airfares round trip were as low as $37 when I initially started my planning 2 months prior. Expect Europen aircrafts to operate on delays and have last minute changes, so always calculate extra time for the airport. In Barcelona I did a hop on and hop off to tour for about 30 euros, to see all the great sites and to keep from walking so much- don’t judge me but my feet were killing me from partying in Ibiza. Me and a friend were able to capture some great shots and most of the places we visited were free because we didn’t go inside. I booked our accommodations through Expedia for an apartment on Gava beach. It was only 10 minutes from the airport, it was beautiful, and much more cost efficient than staying near Barceloneta beach (where all the parties were). Uber isn’t a thing so prepare to use taxis your entire stay in Spain and they get costly, estimate $30 for each trip. The USD ain’t worth explicit so be prepared or exchange currency at your home bank before you come. Don’t pack heels because there is a lot of walking involved in both cities. O Beach party is a must if your in Ibiza. We also did a boat party. It was nice but I was so tired, I couldn’t really enjoy it. We stayed at Ibiza Rocks- it’s like a dormitory but the pool parties are epic so I guess it was a fine trade off. Pack ear plugs and an eye mask though because the guest r rowdy.

I visited in the summer and it was really hot and humid, even late in the evening. The best place to catch the light show is at the avenue of stars. You will have to catch the star ferry at one of the ports. We stayed at the 4seasons and it was attached to a mall that had a walking bridge to the port. The admission to the ferry was less than 10 per person. The ferry stops at 12 AM so we took a cab back to the hotel. It was a bit more expensive but more convenient. The ferry ride is maybe 10 minutes. Hong Kong has a great skyline and views to match with nice swanky spots. We visited ozone bar on the 117th floor of the ritz carlton. This is the second highest bar in the world. It is located both in and outdoors and is worth a visit.

Stayed in Seminyak and heard crushing waves the whole time. The weather was amazing and got to experience the mason elephant park, the Bali swing, and waterfalls. Got sick from the food on the first night ordering room service, so pack medicine and purchase travelers insurance. The doctor personally came to the resort and gave me an injection and prescribed me some medicine. I didn't contract Bali belly nor do I believe it was an issue of poor hygiene from the staff. My body just had to adjust to the new diet. I was back to normal the next day. Never got to experience the night life though. I stayed in a villa at the seminyak resort and spa. It comes with a villa butler and personal infinity plunge pool. I also stayed in a villa at the The W. They were both nice but Seminyak resort offered a better view. The W had a 24 hour spa which was nice because I work up every morning around 5 AM due to the time change. Seminyak resort had free yoga classes at 8 AM every morning. Seminyak was more romantic vs The W is more for friends.

I went at the beginning of July and the weather was amazing. The locals were very kind and helpful. The nightlife left nothing to the imagination. The best place to party was in their imitation of Time Square. I just bar hopped based on the music I heard from walking by. Great relaxing trip and was able to stumble across a lot of sites just by aimlessly walking around. The designer shopping is great here too, and cheaper than the states. If you are looking for some designer discounts, do yourself a favor and go to harrod's or get the airport early and do some duty free shopping. I stayed at the Me Hotel (loved it) and they had a STK's and rooftop bar which were both very lit.
