I visited Paris in late November 2018. The weather was not too cold around this time. On average, it stayed in the mid 60s. This was great because I was able to get out and comfortably enjoy the city. I stayed at Hotel des Deux Continents. This was a small boutique hotel located in the St. Germaine area, and 14.9 miles away from the airport. I had a six night stay for two adults for $970. This hotel does have a small elevator that's not included in the price. So if you want to have access to the elevator, you must select the room with the lift. The rooms were really small, which was to be exacted in Europe. However, it was really clean and the beds were very comfortable. The area was awesome. There were resturants, bars, shopping, and public transportation all within walking distance. Uber is also available for use as well. I'd def recommend this place for anybody that plans on being out a lot and wants someplace comfortable to stay without breaking the bank!
I visited Hawaii in November 2018. The weather around this time was great. It was sunny and hot majority of the time, with only a few hours of lite drizzle. This was a group trip so I honestly don't know exactly how much everything costed individually, but I'll still share my experiences. We stayed at 'Alohilani Resort. This hotel is fairly new and offers a lot of amenities. It located directly across the street from Wakiki Beach. The lobby has a massive aqauirium. Each day there are scheduled events for hotel guest such as hula and yoga classes, luau making with fresh flowers, aquarium feedings, etc. At the bottom of the hotel is a ABC store, which is like CVS there, where you can purchase just about anything you need. The location of the hotel is walking distance from the beach and major shopping. Other fun things to do in Honolulu is visiting the Dole factory, Monoa Falls, Ho'omaluhia Botanical Garden, Diamond head state monumebt/ look-out, and water yoga on a paddle board!!
Everything Santorini Flying Dress Photoshoot!! From the moment I booked this Greece trip, I knew this was a must do. Many companies offer a dress and photography package. However, it’s super expensive and the dresses are one size fits all..and we ALL are not the same size. After researching different dress styles by using the #flyingdress hashtags, I opted to get a dress made by a local business owner. I purchased around 10 yards of chiffon fabric from hobby lobby and spent around $50 dollars. I chose royal blue to compliment the blue and white scenery of Santorini....but it comes in every color. The cost of the design will vary by the person that makes the dress but it considerably less than renting a dress, and it’s mine to keep!! The dress was light weight, made specifically for my body, and fit perfectly in my luggage. Once I arrived in Santorini... a photographer (santorini_lion) reached out to me through my DM and offered his services. This was perfect because we had not yet chosen a photographer. Having a photographer made things soo much easier because he knew exactly where to take us to get the perfect shot, and provided transportation! Price packages for photography ranged from 200€-500€ depending on the duration and number of people in the shoot. Our shoot included three people, and lasted a little over 2 hours. We each paid 116€. He was also soo flexible. We literally reached out to him on the day of the shoot around 1:30pm. And he was at our hotel to pick us up at 4! I’m usually a planner so I wouldn’t suggest being soo last minute with booking. But we got lucky!! The day of the shoot was an adventure and a workout!! Although the shots were amazing..they required work!! There was a lot of running, jumping, and climbing involved! We were in public places with other tourist around, so there wasn’t much time for playing around. But once we stepped in front of the camera, we felt like the beautiful Queens that we are!! It was a wonderful experience that I’ll remember for a lifetime!!
