I visited the Giraffe Manor at the end of November. The weather was awesome. The Giraffe Manor is all-inclusive (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner) and books really fast. I suggest booking far in advance. They provide airport transfer to and from. There is also a full bar located in the house and you can drink as much as you like. If you arrive by 3PM then doing one night would be enough, this will allow you to feed the giraffes at afternoon tea time, feed them at the morning at your room’s window (which you have to wake up early to do) and feed them at breakfast. The Giraffes are super friendly as long as you are feeding them. The staff at the manor are awesome. They go over and beyond to make your stay amazing, from ironing your clothes, pulling back the covers on the bed and taking photos of you with the giraffes (I tipped the guy who took my photos because I held him hostage for an hour or so lol). The manor shares the giraffes with the giraffe center, which is next door and when the giraffes are not at the manor they are at the center. Your stay grants you free access to the center and a staff member will walk you over. The price of the rooms is based on double occupancy. Each room has a different prices based on the size and location of the room. (Some rooms don’t have windows that would allow you to feed the giraffes from your room) I traveled alone and booked the Marlon room. For 2 people the room is $1240 a night, since I traveled solo I paid 50% of that. You have to pay a deposit to book and the balance must be paid 30 days in advance of your stay. Booking is done online via the Giraffe Manor’s website. While staying at the Manor I got a chance to meet and mingle with other travelers, share travel stories and tips. You can also adopt a giraffe. It was an awesome experience.

I recently visited Italy and did a full day in Venice. I stayed in Rome and trained to Venice. I purchased my roundtrip tickets in advance online, however they can be purchased at the station the day of. The train ride was smooth, air condition and very comfortable. While in Venice I did a wine tasting, water taxis, gondola ride and ate at the local eateries. Venice was beautiful and I could have definitely stayed longer. There are so many things to do in Venice, airbnb experiences has a multitude of reasonable priced activities. I traveled alone and felt safe.

I recently visited Marrakech for 3 days and 2 nights. I stayed in a traditional Riad called Riad De Charme Piscine/Hammam in the Medina. It was a beautiful and clean Riad and the staff were awesome. However because it was in the Medina, I had to walk through the market and to the square to get to taxis. This could be very intense as the sellers can be quite aggressive to get you to go into their shops. Be sure to bargain for everything that doesn't have a set price. While in my Marrakech I did a full day at the luxury spa La Mamounia, where i had an traditional Morroccan Bath. I booked like 2 weeks in advance. You have to provide them with a credit card number via email to secure your booking and it creeped me out - but I had no issues. Enjoyed it and actually paid extra for the breakfast buffet I also visited the YSL Museum and had a traditional breakfast at the Riad Goloboy. There are so many things to do in Marrakech, airbnb experiences has a multitude of reasonable priced activities. I traveled alone and felt safe.
