Montreal was so fun, loved the city vibes and the people were chill. The art scene was nice and the food was super yummy. It was easy to drive around and get around the city and out of the city. As for traveling while black, people tend to mind their business, it's pretty diverse which surprised me initially but it was nice to blend in.

I can go back to Costa Rica again and again. I love the atmosphere, the people, and the overall environment. It is such a relaxing and refreshing place and I felt pretty safe.

I was only in Berlin for a short time but it has its positives and negatives. The food scene was solid and the area was nice to walk around. Some of the people I've interacted with were either super nice or a bit standoffish. There are a number of those that fetishize black people so I would be mindful and careful with who you're around.

Be on your guard when visiting here. There were more negatives than positives but I was in Rome for the first time for work, not on vacation. People were not friendly, a bit pushy, and I had my stuff stolen right out of the hotel during a conference. The hotel staff didn't do anything to help and assumed I was the crazy one who misplaced it. People were dismissive and when I needed assistance would help other people (who were not black) first. If you're on vacation I'm sure you'll have a fine time, just be aware of your surroundings.
