I travelled with a group of 8 females while in Thailand. We went to Bangkok for two days and Phuket for five days. Phuket was lovely, it gives me island vibes with the heat & palm trees. We stay in a villa 30 mins outside of Patong Beach. The villa was extremely nice however we did experience some plumbing issues which resulting with us receiving a partial refund.
The group did spilt a few times to do excursions ... elephant sanctuary, phi phi island, tiger kingdom, elephant in water, Patong & Kamala Beach. We did not spend any more than $64 on an item. Most of everything is really cheap. I paid 400 baht for a hr massage which equals to $15 or so in USD. Illuzions is a must do while in town, we went on Friday hip hop night and let’s just say Black Women are loved. The food is fresh and lighter than food in America. They specialize in pad Thai.
I definitely recommend Thailand to those interested. It was an amazing experience.
