A Little About Me:
I am a single mother , full time math teacher and part time entrepreneur. I try to travel as much as I can through out the year, making the most of life while on this earth.
Spain was fun. The nightlife was incredible! They party all night! We stayed in one of the best locations. We could walk EVERYWHERE. https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/15922099 The food was eh, We were not a big fan of all the tappas we ate. There wasn't food like Rome there I will say. We did ALOT of walking even though were were by the bus stop. The most popular street La Rambla is a must. lost of shopping, vendors and entertainment. We wanted to make the most of our short stay, so we did the hop on hop off bus to get around. We made sure to see the incredible Sagrada Familia (timed entry passes purchased) and Park Guell (timed entry passes) . Park Guell closes pretty early so I would get to that one as soon as you can! It was so amazing. The art and intricate details from every symbolic reason for every part of the structures is beyond amazing. We enjoyed it!
We absolutely loved Rome! The food and wine was AMAZING! WE stayed in the PERFECT location, walking distance from the Colosseum. https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/25886986 We did a mixology class as well as pasta making cooking class as well. All booked via airbnb: Street Art and Roman Food Pasta Making - Wine Tasting Dinner We visited the beautiful trevi fountain and it was SUPER crowded. You have to get there early! We also did a skip line tour of the Colosseum. It was well worth it. that place is CROWDED as well. Via trip advisor. We have a very short visit but ate LOTS OF GOOD FOOD and drink LOTS OF great WINE!
Cuba was one of the most rewarding trips I have yet to experience. The culture, the locals, everything about it was so humbling. I admired the genuine love and appreciation for life and people while there. We stayed in Havana, in the middle of everything via Airbnb host. https://www.airbnb.com/users/show/127557339 It was beautiful renovated, included breakfast and we could walk EVERYWHERE! The best part was the food tour. We ATE SO MUCH food we didn't eat anymore that day. https://www.airbnb.com/experiences/99377 We also took salsa lessons from a local via airbnb. However, there are lots of free salsa lessons offered around the city. You will see signs. We also went to this super cool cultural center with a bar and shows as well as a live band. La Fabrica de Arte Cubano (La FAC) Calle 26 - we went at night around 9PM The nightlife was better than expected. We hopped between 3 night clubs with a local and had so much fun dancing and drinking. You must go to Olala, LaEsencia. Those were our favorites! https://www.airbnb.com/experiences/121904 You must take a walk around Malecon this boardwalk where ALL the locals hang at night. There are vendors out there as well selling things. Everything was super CHEAP! When you go, take small things with you like pens to give to the locals. They appreciate it so much and things are very scarce there. I cannot wait to go back. Beautiful city, beautiful people. Also the whole supporting documents to show you are supporting the cuban people is a scare tactic. We did not have to verify or show proof of anything. it was just like going to any other country. Enjoy!
