I traveled to Dubai a few weeks ago and I knew prior to traveling that it would be pricey. I purchased Groupons for the excursions such as the Safari, and Dubai aquarium, and dining. I paid $37 each for the 6 hour safari which included pick up from hotel, camel ride, henna tattoo, dinner and entertainment. I also purchased my Kaftan prior to my trip for $60 they had numerous colors to choose from! It was an experience I’ll never forget.

I visited Punta Cana in Feb. Prior to traveling a did have a few concerns in regards to me traveling alone, and being black. I stayed at the Ocean El Faro All inclusive resort. When I arrived they were very friendly and welcoming. I stayed 5 nights and paid $ 889 for flight and hotel and round trip transfer from the airport. I was there I had never felt more confident about my dark skin. The men/ women payed compliments daily on how beautiful my skin was. Some of the Dominicans skin looked just like mine. It was very safe! I learned had to salsa poolside. One of the best solo trips to date!

I visited Honolulu Hawaii for a week in June with my family and had the best time! During the day I spent time doing the excursions and at the beaches. And the evening came I was well rested ready for a night on the town. I walked to the Ala Mona Mall from my hotel which I went to Mai Bar, and Lucky Strikes. The both had free entry and good music and entertainment. At the Mai Tai Bar there was a live band the performed Reggae music after the DJ played hip hop/ pop.

I stayed at the Riu Palace in Liberia Costa Rica for a 7 nights. I paid $1,100 for flight, hotel and round trip transfers As single black female traveling alone. The hotel was great! 4 star. They were very friendly and I felt safe the entire time. The hotel was 25 mins from the Liberia airport. The Resort also was all inclusive and the food and entertainment was amazing! .
