Florence Italy is one of the most beautiful cities that I've traveled to. It is rich in history, culture and has an amazing energy. The food is amazing in the city, but I highly recommend restaurants outside of the city center, they usually costs less and tastes so much better. The tours are a lot of fun, and a great way to meet people from different places. You'll never go wrong visiting the museums but I also strongly recommend visiting the churches, they house some of the most exquisite works of art. I too recommend visiting the historic monuments and sights, but when it comes to shopping, i recommend supporting the local stores, the products will be made locally, made with pride, using quality products, and you can negotiate the prices. There is always an impromptu concert in the street that you can enjoy for free, but if you wish to take pictures,or film, leave a tip, these are trained artists, and they are earning a living.
