Í am in love with France. If I could return to live there for my remaining years, I totally will. I felt overall well respected and people were friendly. Yes, french people adore us black Americans. I felt safe as a solo traveler and when I was with friends. I also speak the language so I felt that it helped tremendously.

Aggression towards me as a black woman. People bumped into me intentionally. Really blew me away too because I am physically disabled; no respect at all. I'll never go back to Italy. Also was trapped in the doorway of a city bus. The driver did not stop. I was halfway out the door. He could have seriously hurt me!!!!
