Chicago or The Chi is my old stomping grounds after I graduated from UofM. Chicago is know for having the best deep-dish across the country (Check out Lou Malnati's if you can).I surely miss that Chicago pie. I tell everyone Chicago has some of the best food spots including Eddie V's Prime Seafood, The Capital Grille, and you definitely have to try an Italian beef while there too!

As a Detroit native, I can't help but to recommend my city. The Motor City is best known for Motown Records, home of a ton of legends, and is the epicenter of Black culture. Downtown Detroit is now flourishing with dope things to do and see such as visiting the Detroit Institute of Art (DIA), Eastern Market, and the Heidelberg Project.

I recently visited Continent restaurant during Black Restaurant Week in Atlana. The food and drinks were fire! I especially enjoyed the tamarind chicken wings and date pudding. It has a cool, chill vibe that resonates with fellow globetrotter like myself. You can't go wrong with a name like Continent.
