Barbados is an extremely safe country in general with a predominantly Black population. The island has beautiful beaches and Oistins Fish Market is one of the lively spots. Of course you should demonstrate the usual travel precautions but I have never had any troubles in Oistins. The fish market turns in to a lively family-friendly party at night where you can enjoy dancing, music, and delicious food.
