The beaches are not all that great and seing as it is an island of only 30km length you can basically do NOTHING here. The most exiting part is the 30 minute ferry ride to and from. On the island there are few and overpriced stores and like two museums that are actually decent. You can watch some seals there, that is pretty nice. Other than that you can only ride your bike all day every day which if that floats your boat is nice, you can rent bikes pretty cheap here but otherwise genuinely go about everywhere else
Genuinely beautiful town with a very clean beach and good affordable Restaurants, accomidation is very expensive. As with most parts of eastern germany stay clear if you‘re eastern european / muslim. They‘re incredibly islamophobic.
A beautiful town but everything is terribly expensive, accomidation, food (supermarket and restaurant that is), museums.. the only affirdable thing was thd public transport (get 24-hour tickets, you cannot beat the proce ). The people are pretty rude in general, and as I said everything is quite pricey but if you‘re here for a day-trip and just wander the streets in spring or summer the city has quite a lot of charme to it. (Avoid the Anne Frank museum there is literally nothing in there, its just an empty crowded house)
Restaurant prices are quite steep, gas is cheap and the people are okay-ish. Nothing to note in particular about this town as it is just a border town that germans use to buy cheaper coffee and gas, not a lot going on except for a lot of traffic all day every day
