Capetown, South Africa. Definitely my second favourite destination of all time after Santorini, and my favourite destination in all of Africa!! I have been to capetown thrice in the last four years and planning to attend the annual Veuve Clicquot Maters Polo Tournament in March 2019! Where to stay: When I first visited Capetown, I stayed at The magnificent One & Only Hotel. I mean this hotel resort is one of a kind. It's so expansive but also a bit expensive! The views are so scenic as it overlooks a marina on one side, a "Venice type setting" on the other, yet within the hotel, and the glorious Table mountain on another side. The clouds literally cover the hotel during winter period, though I did not find it very cold. During my second and third visits, I stayed at around Cliffton Beach. I got a really nice Air BnB whose main bedroom overlooked the ocean and the apartment was just a stones throw away. What to do: I definitely recommend visiting the vineyards and getting a tour around them. My favourite vineyard is Warwick in Stellenbosch and I got an amazing and intelligent Wine Sommelier called Luvo Ntezi (+27723252146) who actually works as a Sommelier at the One and Only. He is inexpensive, well versed with wines and great company. Another must do is visit Table Mountain. The views of Capetown from "Heaven" are just magical. Google of you don't believe it. :) The nightlife around Camps Bay Area is the best. You can hop in and out of bars if you wish or just enjoy one bar. They have amazing spots!

Bali, Indonesia Bali has gone into my books as one of my favourite destinations to visit, and yes, you must visit Bali at least once in your lifetime. I loved it so much, I just celebrated Christmas 2018 in Bali and I am not booking another one week stay in Summer (August 2019). Now here's why I love Bali Where to Stay: * Bali literally gives you an option of both worlds. The JUNGLE or The Beach. Both are about 3 hours away from each other so you can always make a day or one night stay trip if your big on road trips like I am. My mister and I really wanted to explore the Jungle side of Bali, so we found this spectacular resort called Pramana Watu Kurung in Ubud. My GOD! This place is heaven. Google it. I wish I could attach pictures here. When we arrived, we were put up in a two storey detachable condo, it was spacious, had a private pool and two baths, once downstairs and one upstairs. It comes with other amenities such as TV, Wifi, Fridge, etc. Compared to a lot of places, for a five star, it was quite affordable. We stayed 9 nights and paid about $2500. Out of the 9 nights, they upgraded us to the Royal/Presidential Suite. We were celebrating out anniversary so it was such a fantastic gesture. Things to do: * Asia is probably the one place you will find cheap but VEEEERY good massages on every corner you turn to. When we discovered Carla Spa in Ubud, we started going there everyday for massages. We literally paid about $10 per person for a two hour full body massage. * Bali Swing: A must do. Bali is very well known for this. During my trip I wanted to visit a swing where I did not have to queue in line to get pictures i.e. The famous "Bali Swing" which is on rice fields. I managed to get a newer swing called Hideaway Swing Bali which also has several swing options. I took some of my best pictures here. * Waterfalls in Bali : Really loved visiting the waterfalls in Bali and capturing some really amazing moments. Bali has so many waterfalls, you'd be spoilt for choice. You just need to google one and make your way. Local Food I found local food options a bit limiting but maybe it's the restaurants I went to. We really loved the wontons from Arang Sate Bar Ubud.

Rome, Italy I had my fair share of good, bad and worst experiences. The Good: * The history in Rome is so rich, with some of the most astounding architectural buildings dating back 13BC! Rome has definitely done a great job at keeping it's history and culture in tact. * We booked a cooking class with chef Andrea Consoli for about $80 per head for a half a day cooking clad session. We really enjoyed learning how to make authentic Italian dishes, my favourite being the beef carpaccio which has become a specialty in my house hold especially when hosting. The Bad * The first day we arrived, we got robbed. A man who wore a concierge shirt approached us and asked us to follow him to his Taxi and he would drop us at our desired destination. During the drive, the man was driving like a maniac and when we protested, he got very irritable and agitated, throwing hid hands all over the place (I actually think this is an Italian trait, they throw their hands around when expressing something, whether good or bad), and arguing with us. He actually drove us to a doggy alley and told us to hop off an get on a train instead. We had to plead with him to just take us to the hotel given all the lugguage we had. Once we got to the entrance of the hotel, the man removed all our bags save for the Louis Vuitton bags. He drove off with them and we never saw him again. Luckily we managed to report the case to the POLIZIA (Italian for Police) and they found him via Instagram (how cool is social media?). He was arrested and the rest, well, is history. * The hotel we booked, Rome Life Hotel, has these wonderful pictures online, however, when we arrived, it was nothing like what was online. We got a really tiny room (could hardly fit two), and our shower was not working so we literally had to use another room to shower in. Insights: Be careful of pickpockets, cons and card scammers while in Rome. Definitely have authentic Italian pasta, especially from the smaller restaurants along streets. It's to die for. All in all, I enjoyed the good bit of Rome but I wouldn't go back any time soon. I would instead prefer to visit Milan, Venice and Florence.
