Navigate to a listing and scroll down to the “Add a Review” section on mobile or “Write a Review” section on desktop in order share your review. Don’t forget to link your comments to a travel category.
Every city that you review, we will track the corresponding country in a personal travel map that will be located in your profile. Just in case you need some help when rating a city here is a quick cheat sheet of the travel categories and what a score of 1 through 5 represent.
Traveling While Black
If you feel nothing but black love at this destination and borderline want to shout out “Wakanda Forever”, then give it a 5. If you feel like there is racism and deep rooted prejudice towards blacks give it a 1. If people may fist bump you a bit too often or be a little over zealous with pictures and stares give it a 3.
Things To Do
If there are an abundance of activities you can do in this city, give it a 5. If there are minimal to no activities and most activities are dull, give it a 1. Awesome is 5 stars, Awful is 1 star, Average or No Opinion is 3 stars.
Adventure
If the city has some really unique, adventurous things to do, then this sounds like a 5 on the Awesometer. If you can’t get your adrenaline going no matter what you do, then this is no place for Adventure. Awesome is 5 stars, Awful is 1 star, Average or No Opinion is 3 stars.
Nightlife
If there are a number of nightlife options ranging from bars, lounges, clubs etc and more importantly, YOU enjoyed yourself, then that is Awesome. If there are little to no nightlife options or if things shut down super early, sounds like a horrible night. Parky like a rockstar in another city. Awesome is 5 stars, Awful is 1 star, Average or No Opinion is 3 stars.
History
If there is an abundance of culture and you feel like it is oozing out of the pores of the city then give this city a 5. If it feels like there is no culture or maybe the place has been severely Americanized then give it a low rating like a 1 or a 2. Local Food
If you can enjoy authentic local food, wine, beer etc of a country then that sounds pretty awesome. If you could not wait to taste some American food or loathed eating out in this city then please let us know so we do not go there!! Relaxation
If the city moves at a slow pace, you have some really relaxing activities, and it is a great place to unwind, this sounds like a 5 on the Awesometer. Romance
If you would love to bring bae here and spend some real quality time (and maybe even pop the question), then that sounds pretty awesome. If the city is just hustling and bustling and you really can’t make some personal and love-inspired moments, then give this city a low score. Affordability
Just think cost of living and eating. If a sandwich cost $20 in the US and $2 in another country that is win no matter how much money you make. Conversely, if a $10 sandwich would cost $20 in another country that kinda sucks but one has to eat. Awesome is 5 stars, Awful is 1 star, Average or No Opinion is 3 stars.
