Birmingham is a great city the elyton hotel is a great place to stay the views of the city are great the Vulcan statue is one of the best view where great dinning places and desert places and we have the city walk to go to railroad park all types of places and things to see and go to
We went to Birmingham for a Nate Jackson comedy show in Nov 2024 and the whole weekend we couldn’t find a thing to do. Restaurants were closed, the whole town was sleepy as we walked around on foot, and we stumbled on football activities around UAB’s campus but that was it. I don’t know if it was just an off weekend but people were IN THE HOUSE. We didn’t feel unsafe or uncomfortable though.
