I live here in Bridgeport. There is a lot of new developments going on in the city. Downtown Bridgeport and Main Street has a lot of great eats. I would say Bridgeport is very diverse and safe to travel through. Night life is great from lounges to hookah bars and restaurants that literally turn into a dance floor in the evening. There are a few parks and recreation to do in surrounding towns. But overall, a safe stop and rest until your next destination.
