Gyeongju holds some really nice history from the Silla Dynasty, one of the three kingdoms before unification into the Joseon Dynasty. The preservation and remodeling of their history was done so well.
I was surprised at how many other foreign tourists were visiting among Korean tourists! The food was 7/10 because this isn’t known as the best place to get food. That would be to the West in Jeolla Province >> visit Jeonju for the food and history from another of the three kingdoms, the Baekjae Dynasty
