I went to Innsbruck to explore the city and local restaurants while travel back to Germany from Sölden, Austria. Sadly Sölden was the real trip I wanted to provide tips for but it’s not available. But Innsbruck was beautiful. The mountains provide a breath-taking scenery. I went with a beautiful woman the city provided us quiet comfort. Satisfying food and coffee spots. I didn’t have the pleasure to stay over night but what I saw during the day would likely impress during the night hours. Innsbruck was a peaceful city with chapel bells ringing, light traffic, people riding bikes, and I never felt like I was treated differently being Black.

Innsbrook is like an Instagram feed come to life. The entire town looks like it was drawn from a storybook. I did not expect to like it as much as I did but I was won over by the sheer beauty of the city. I stayed in a relaxing spa hotel and it was lovely and luxurious. The spas around there are clothing optional, so don’t be shocked if you see people walking around the spa completely naked. I never felt that my being black was an issue while I was there even though I didn’t see any other black people. I never felt uncomfortable or unwelcome.

I went to Innsbruck in April and the weather was lovely. From the minute my plan landed I fell in love. I honestly didn’t think a place in Europe could still my heart like this. So much to the point that i intend to go back every year.

No matter which direction i looked the scenery was stunning, and the air was sooo fresh.

The locals were very friendly and i didn’t have any experience any problems being black.

I had lunch at a place called Theresien Brau, the food was lovely and the portion size was big. Make sure if you visit this restaurant to also try their house beer. Innsbruck has many cute tea shop and the deserts are really good there.
