I went there in 2016 on a solo trip. This city is very young and artsy. The art scene is really moving!
And they are really black-friendly. Black is cool! But of course many Lithuanian people ( generally older) will look at you by curiosity because not a lot of black people are travelling in their country. The City is very SAFE. I was walking late at alone in the streets.
1) Vilnius, the capital city: Book a free walking tour to get introduced better to the history of the city and country https://www.tripadvisor.fr/Attraction_Review-g274951-d4368275-Reviews-Vilnius_Free_Tour-Vilnius_Vilnius_County.html
-A walk through the old town
-And golden hour in Front of Saint Anne Cathedral, You have never seen such light mixed with architecture. It touches your soul like the holy spirit, Haha! A must-do!
-Visit the Uzupis republic whick like Christiania in Copenhagen or a bit like Montmartre in Paris. Their life rules is so interesting and funny.
-Get lost in the little passages and streets around the central place of the city
2) Kaunas : It is the second city of the country and 45mn by train from Vilnius. you can do a day trip to visit the Kaunas Castle and church and the way people in Lithuania really lives because the capital city is not always the bg picture of a country.
Have a lunch at Gryte restaurant for typical Lithuanian food
