This is review 2 of 23 in a group of writings I call, “A quick deep look at local Cali
    stopping grounds”. Regarding Lodi Ca,
you got a 50/50 shot! What I mean is that Lodi – like Galt- is a small town off
highway 99. There are many mom and pop shops and a very cute downtown.
Similarly to the Strawberry Festival there is an Asparagus Festival in the
    neighboring town Stocken that usually
produces a very large crowd from the surrounding areas. There are also a good
number of local wineries in the area. I remember my parents would travel around
Lodi tasting different wines and supporting local businesses. Many wineries offer
local events to attract more customers. With
all that being said I would not directly advise our people to just travel freely in
Lodi Ca. When I was young my parents and I went to a local mom and pop
restaurant. Everything seemed good on the surface, they sat us quickly near the
front of the restaurant, things seemed quiet since there were not a lot of folk in the restaurant and we patiently waited for our order to be taken. As time passed
by, our waiter did not come, so my mother and I decided to take a look around
the restaurant. Apparently, the joint was not aw ‘quite’ as we believed and there
was a good number of Poppa Other people… toward the rear of the restaurant. We
then saw a klan flag on a side door which lead to this area of the restaurant.
Needless to say my parents and I quickly got out of there. The establishment might be gone, but if it is that still means
that those folks are still around and interwoven in the fabric of Lodi.
