Thus far, Aruba has to be my favorite destination! The island is so welcoming. Because this island is a melting pot of culture, all are welcome and safe. It is a very honest island. I have traveled alone and felt safe!!!

Traveling While Black
I stayed at the Hotel Riu Palace Antillas resort. The vibes, all-inclusive amenities, and the people are truly respectful and warmth. When you go to the streets of Aruba, everyone is so nice and sweet. It was truly a culture shock coming from Baltimore, but it was refreshing. Definitely, visiting soon!

Traveling While Black
Aruba was great! Definitely a vibe. Airbnb is recommended. The resorts did not have the best reviews. The island is very safe. We stayed out late a lot and never felt unsafe at all. And there are multiple activities to do all around the island. Renting a car is also recommended. Driving in Aruba was super easy.
