I went to Horseshoe Bend Trail near Page, Arizona. I didn’t go out at night because I was alone and was just up here to relax and not spend a lot of money when I was fine relaxing in a hot tub in my hotel room. I’m not a big drinker, so that’s another reason why I didn’t go out. It was a great time. You see a lot of people of color as well as people from all over the world. It was a great experience and I will come back again.
I recently visited Page, Arizona, and stayed at the Wyndham Hotel. The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable place to relax after our daily excursions. However, the food at the hotel left much to be desired—it was disappointing and certainly not a highlight of our trip.
On the positive side, Antelope Canyon was absolutely stunning. It’s a must-see for anyone visiting the area. Our guide, Nevermore, was knowledgeable and friendly, adding to the overall experience. The people in the town and surrounding areas were incredibly welcoming, which made our trip even more enjoyable.
If you’re looking for natural beauty and a friendly atmosphere, Page, Arizona is a great destination. Just be sure to plan your meals elsewhere!
While there weren’t many POC in the area, I felt safe and comfortable. I really enjoyed how nice and welcoming the locals were. Most people are there for one thing only Antelope Canyon. But lucky for me, they had a hot air balloon festival going in and the balloons were lowered in the downtown area. The hot brownie and ice cream at the BBQ restaurant in town is a MUST!
